The Secret in Morris Valley by Linda Joy
Ondrea is sent by her favorite professor to collect information on the Morris Valley wolves. She’ll work with one of Dr. Jadlowski’s previous students. She looks forward to the field work.
Barry Morris won’t allow Ondrea to do field work, not after he meets her. It’s too dangerous to go out without a well-armed escort and a pack of dogs. He insists she collect what information she can from the collection of historical diaries in his library, which frequently mention the wolves. He suggests she take on a second job, using the same diaries, for which he will pay her well. It’s time for him to take a wife; he wants a list of Valley women who are the least related to him.
Barry has plans for Ondrea. So do the wolves.
