Illumen is a print magazine of speculative poetry co-edited by Tyree Campbell and Karen L. Newman. It is published biannually by Sam’s Dot Publishing, on 1 April and 1 October, in chapbook format. It contains speculative poetry, illustrations, articles, and reviews.
Illumen begins its ninth year with multiple Nebula winner Mary Turzillo as the featured poet. Richard Fay presents an overall view of speculative poetry from past through present to its future. Shelly Bryant reviews “Genesis” by Frederick Turner. Contributors include Megan Arkenberg, s.c. virtes, Lyn Gardner, Sandi Leibowitz, Gary Every, Rone Wisten, Keith Sikora, and a host of others.
